For temperature control the watts are how fast it ramps up to the temperature you set it to maintain. I have a 100, 150, 75, 50 watt systems and never go much above 40 watts. Most of the time I am around the 30 watt mark. Mostly just the Triton tank needs its watts in the 40's to run proper. But then again you want to blow clouds.
