Yeah give a soak in warm water and it should free it up enough to unscrew it by hand. You might wanna look at the o rings when you take it apart and see f they are damaged.

Yes it is tam. I currently prefer the t2 but I haven't heard of a bottom feeder that doesn't leak. So it's all preference!
