In general you have to double the diameter of the wrap wire to the core wire to account for resistance of the wrap wire. With 2 core wires the wrap is more significant with more core wires as a percentage of the total the wrap is less significant.

How do you determine the resistance of a wrap?
Jan 28, 2017 · 1187 Hundertwasser. @TarekElsakka You can calculate the target resistance of a clapton using steam-engine. In a clapton only the core wire carries current, so just put in the numbers for the core and that will give you a good estimation. If you want accurate use the wire wizard, though you may also get a headache .

How many wraps on a vape coil?
Feb 17, 2016 · Once you calculate how many wraps you need, it’s a simple process of tightly wrapping the wire around your drill bit or coil jig. One complete turn is one wrap. Also make sure your wire is not overlapping when you wrap your coil. The resistance is determined by the number of wraps, the diameter of the wire and circumference of the wrap.

Rebuilding Atomizers – Step One – The Wrap
I’m happy to report that I was given the green light the other day to continue on with this series on learning how to rebuild atomizers. The series will, hopefully, teach you not only how to rebuild any atomizer you choose to work with, but to also show you that it does take a lot of talent to do it, only the desire and commitment to do so.
Methodology
The way of I am going to teach is is to break it down into various exercises, to assign, not homework, but an exercise that when you complete it you will be able to easily apply that skill when the time comes. The first, primary, yet most important part of rebuilding an atomizer is learning to make good wraps.
Wrapping A Coil
In its basic terms, rebuilding an atomizer is the simple act of removing the burned out wick, which is material wrapped with a coil/wire, and putting another one in its place.
Preparation
When the time comes to really wrap some wire around a real wick you’ll have learned about preparing your wick, whether your wick is made up of stainless steel mesh rolled up into a tube shape, or some other wick material properly prepared, but I don’t even want you to have to worry about these things right now.
Two Ways To Wrap
Guide To Vaping – There are two methods I use to wrap a coil. One way is to take a wooden match that you would use to start a fire in your fireplace, about 6 inches long or so, and the smaller wooden match that you would see in a box of matches that you can carry around in your pocket. These are the sizes we want to start with.

I also have these charts on 2 PDF files. One has 3 charts on one page for printing, the second has a single chart on each page.
Do vape skins have sleeves?
It’s important to note here that vape skins are not vape sleeves. Vape sleeves are made from rubber or silicone and they offer more in terms of protection. Being thick and rubberized, vape sleeves will protect your device from breakage, bruises, and paint chips. Unfortunately, they will also cover it completely so your fellow vapers will not be aware that you're sporting the newest toy in the neighborhood.

What is advanced mode?
The Advanced mode allows you to change the preset resistivity of the wire itself, you can use this if you are using a wire type which is not listed in the material and profile drop-down section.
