i have a different ecig, but i do have to change the wick in my atomizer. the wick will turn slightly brown, as it absorbs the e liquid, as it's brown. its also normal for the burnt taste to become stronger over time, but after 7ml its not normal for you wick to burn out.

Pretty high on the volts. Personally I don't vape anything above 4.4. When my juice gets 1/4 left I top it off or put it back in the bottle to make a switch. You should also work the juice onto the wicks. Rotate it, turn it upside down. Wicks don't always wick. Sometimes you gotta help em'. I vape mostly 50/50. Whats your juice %?

i usually try to keep my novas at least half full and they dont wick all that great if you are using high VG mixs,also if your juice has alot of heavy flavoring it will build up around the coil pretty fast and start to give a burnt taste after awhile.

I bet you are vaping at a higher voltage. I had to stop using the Vivi and go back to carto tanks because of this. I like vaping at higher voltage and taking long drags. The vivi just kept burning heads on me no matter how high of ohm heads I used.

keeping the wicks in the vivi nova wet are key to making it work well. One singe on the wicks and that taste never seems to come out. If you feel really adventurous, check into putting a stainless steel wick in your vivi. I rolled a nice tight thin wick for mine and a 4/5 wrap of 32g Kanthal...night and day difference.
