I smoked a pack & a half a day. When I started vaping I was using 16mg & it wasn't all that enjoyable. I'm using a VW box mod with a .5 coil. Now that I use 6mg nicotine & vape at 35 watts is So much better. You may just have to find a power/ juice /coil combo that works best for YOU.

The Ego One is a fairly powerful device. I have 2. I can vape 18 mg but it's quite a potent hit. I agree that you should try lower nic, 12 or 9, and higher VG percentage. 60/40 VG/PG would probably be smoother.

18mg is what I started on, but was using I an clear 30 s on a cool fire 1 @8.5 watts. New devices and sub ohm tanks are great for people who have been vaping for awhile but not so much for people just starting out. See if you can get higher resistance coils. Also high vg juice is a lot smoother.
