So I've been happily vaping with the Penelope since I got it on Friday and refilled the tank about 3 times so far. I'm wondering on average how long does the wick/coil last before it needs to be replaced? I'm using the pre-made wire that came with it now but also have some Kanthal A 32awg and .999 silver 30ga for my next coil.

There is no standard for how long a coil lasts... it all depends on juice, abuse and mileage... Im lucky if I get 3 days from a coil but I also vape dark juices, dual coils @ 4.2v all day every day on average 7 to 10ml of juice depending on the day... not to mention each coil I make performs slightly different than the last...

I had a feeling it was subjective based on vaping habits... I guess I'll just have to feel it out as I keep using it. I did notice though that my wick was rather dark when I went to adjust the center post yesterday. I havent been using liquids that a dark so I hope I didnt burn it...

I only get 1-2 days I se others get wicks. It is based on a lot of factors. Juice how the wick was wrapped and your personal taste buds.

if you have a VV device or have a device that you can stack batterys your coils will last a looooong time just need to up the voltage if you feel the vapor is slacking.
