I've been getting the check battery message in my mod, changed the battery a couple of times and it worked for a couple hours each time. Had a pain in the face with it so bought another kit. I dunno why but I much prefer the tank in my original one (the one that says check battery).

The aspire battery is known by Mooch to be seriously underpowered compared to on the label. You really need to get some reputable batteries from a recommended vendor. It could be your batteries aren't powerful enough for the wattage you want to run I that tank. If one tank uses more battery/wattage than the other, that could be your issue.

Yes both kits are the same. Your right about the tank. I didn't mess around with the setting cz I wouldn't have a clue lol. Although if it was the settings on one mod surely the tank would work on the other??? I use an aspire battery 3.7v.

bonjour a tous, j'ai un petit problème depuis hier soir. mon al85 m'affiche check battery alors que les batteries sont pleine ( j'ai 2 accu donc et ca le fait avec les 2 ) quelqu'un aurait une solution?

j'ai eu le même souci avec ma funky 60w, en fait le "bouchon" du compartiment à accu était un peu oxydé coté accu du coup le conductivité était mauvaise, passe un petit coup de toile émeri pour enlever l'oxydation et ça devrait résoudre le problème (à moins que ton problème vienne d'ailleurs), fais en sorte aussi d'avoir le plot positif de l'accu propre en permanence.

Salut. J'ai eu le même problème, accompagné d'autres messages "short" (sûrement court circuit) et "low ohm". J'ai finalement nettoyé, changé mon coil (7 tours au lieu de 5)et... Ça fonctionne.
