I briefly had that setup but gave it away to a new vaper. I will say, the tank is small so depending on the coil you use, it may heat up. I don't know if that amount of heat is normal though... It is a small tank, so if it's the tank warming up I might be less concerned, but maybe still concerned.

I will say when starting out, when I only had a couple setups and would chain-vape in the mornings, sometimes my tanks would get surprisingly hot, I mean really quite warm. I was using Nautilus 2s at the time, and they are a small tank designed for MTL with fairly minimal airflow settings and they heated up noticeably.

I recently bought a Smok Stick Prince and have noticed that it gets hot and I don't know if it is normal. I vape for about 5 minutes and the body below the tank gets hot. Currently the airflow valve is 7mms wide on both sides.

Hi and welcome. From your description it sounds like this is heat transfer from your tank. As has been said a battery should not be getting hot though. I believe your mod has an internal battery so it's possible that there is a fault with it. Smok are known for bad quality control.
