Is The Freemax Star Pro An Improvement On The Original?

The Freemax Starre has for a long time been one of my favourite tanks and even when the Sense Herakles arrived I still found plenty of reasons to use the Starre.

Freemax Starre Pro styling and build quality

This is a very sleek looking tank but it is actually slightly shorter than the original Freemax Starre. The tank is 22mm diameter and 510 threaded so will suit most devices. The airflow control ring is almost identical to the original beyond a few minor aesthetic changes and features dual large cyclops style airflow slots.

How Does the Freemax Starre Pro vape?

The Freemax Starre Pro offers a fantastic vape when used on a temperature control device. I have found that 40J/W at 240-260°C is perfect for me.

Final Verdict

The Pro does everything I want in a Sub-Ohm tank. Freemax have taken the design I loved and made it better! The only downside for some is that this tank goes through juice much faster than others but the exceptional flavour makes it worth it.

Sweet, great pic. We are clearly not as "o-ring low" as some images make it look. This tank is going to be a blast. Starre coils drink alot, but the Crown coils drink more. It is going to be really nice having the Starre experience with top fill.

I recently got the Original Starre tank and absolutely love it. However, I wish I would have known/waited for the Pro but that seems to be my luck. I got the IPV, then I read about the IPV4S about a week or two later (that's somewhat ok as we now have the updated firmware).

Congrats, hope your happy with it, I've actually gone back to the 0.25ohm kanthal coils, Im a creature of habit, vape it at 55w or 60w, job done....really enjoying the top fill though, even if it takes longer to clean the tank..

Does this happen when the base and coil are screwed into the chimney section ? You should be able to push the top of the chimney when these are screwed together and can clearly feel the spring working, it only rattles like a paint can, or doesn't feel like there is a spring when the the chimney part isn't screwed into the base with the coil in..

SD3614, I have this tank coming soon but don't have it yet. Only one thing comes to mind with your leaking-do you have the on/off switch in correct position, and did you use it while filling? There are a few YouTube videos stressing the importance of this, and stating it will leak if not done correctly.

Sorry to hear about your issues. I got my Starre Pro today and I am loving it. Haven't had any issues with flooding/leaking or dry hits.
