I've found the solution, my X-Priv Mod stopped changing Ohms when I changed tanks, and this fix aloud me to keep my mod.

A metal coil is NOT a variable resistor. The only thing you are changing is the display on your mod.

My tpriv had that function, and i forgot some basic electronic and thought i was changing the resistance of a coil. Brainfart. A wire coil is simply not a variable resistor, no matter what the display screen says.

I've tried tanking the tank off, firing at 1W to show "No Atomizer," then put on a different tank. My 3 tanks run at .12, .15, .15 Ohms. My SMOK X-Priv will read anywhere for New/Old to .224 or .197 Ohms for a .12 Ohms Coil. I've tried to take batteries out, and lots of other choices. The way I'm doing it now I can pre adjust to my desired Ohms.

How To Turn On The X-Priv: To turn the X-Priv on, simply click the firing bar 5-times consecutively. You will then see the SMOK logo and will immediately be redirected to the main screen. Repeat the process to turn the X-Priv off.
How to verify a smok?
First, use your phone or PC and visit the official SMOK website. Once you’ve navigated to the website, navigate to the SMOK support page. Next, you will want to find the packaging that your SMOK X-Priv Mod came in and scratch off the coating on the security label. The security label is often on the right side of the box, next to the barcode. Once you scratch it, you will see a code that you must input into the field on the webpage to verify the mod. Wait a few seconds and the results will be displayed .
