I sure do appreciate this thread, as I'm starting to mix my own juice right now. I have the oriental 4 on it's way right now, it's the flavor I'm looking forward to trying the most. I'm glad I saw this and didn't try to mix it at 10% right away! I'll try 2% first, and go from there.

So I take it that these flavors are more concentrated and use less PG than TPA? I went nutz and bought all of my flavors (like 50-60 of them) from TPA. Probably not good head work since I'm having to go extreme with lemon to get a good lemonade. As I deplete my flavors maybe I should consider Flavour Art next go around.

Bookmarked thanks! My FA flavours are in the post (only got Cherry Black, Menthol and RY4)

DIY E-Liquid Preparation

Your chemist’s plan is ready. You have the e-liquid base solutions, concentrated flavor extract, and maybe even some sweetening boosters to add to your DIY E-Liquid mix.

Calculate Flavor Extract Percentage

Start off small. A little bit of flavoring usually goes a long way. We recommend starting off with percentages of 5% and if you’re mixing two or more flavorings then have the combined flavor percentage at no more than 10%. If you find that your final e-liquid product is not strong enough then begin experimenting with higher percentages.

Fine Tune Flavoring Percentage

It’s a breeze, however, a criterion is to be taken into account when mixing: the rate of VG of your base. As you know, vegetable glycerin tends to dampen flavors. If your base has a higher LV level than propylene glycol, it will be necessary to add a higher dose of e-liquid flavoring.

The top of the vape contains much of the banana flavor. But nothing “runty” or candy, nothing creamy either. It’s a baked banana, with these light notes of almond and walnut, touched with a bit of brown sugar. The finish is where this delicious baked banana bread note comes in.

What is the top of a vape?

The top of the vape is where more of the nutty notes come in, the caramel sweetness, and a light earthiness. Then on the finish comes the heavier caramel notes, the dirtier tobacco notes, finished with a light bakery. Excellent for those who want something that’s a bit more “traditional” but also a bit sweet. 2.

What is RY4 flavoring?

RY4 is a “tobacco” flavoring, in which there’s more a focus on the caramel, vanilla, bakery notes, than the tobacco itself. This level of depth makes it perfect as a solo ingredient. I personally enjoy mixing this around 5%, and letting it sit a few days before diving in.

Is Cap Vanilla Custard V1 or V2?

CAP Vanilla Custard V1 / V2. Custards are wildly popular, and so it makes sense to add the king of custards to the list. To me, CAP Vanilla Custard, both version 1 and 2, is all you really need if you’re a custard head.

There's been at least two major sites that folks have used and mention frequently: e-liquid-recipes (elr) and alltheflavors (atf) with pros and cons of each eternally debated.
