Binder Clips

If you’re anything like us, your electrical cables can become a tangled, knotty mess. We’ve discovered an easy storage solution that utilizes—what else?—binder clips! Untangle your cables and collect (or coil) them into organized batches; then clip them together to keep them organized while stored away, or attach them to a desk, table, or shelf.

Spiral Notebook Rings

It may be hard to watch your child’s notes on the conservation of matter go into the recycling bin, but when it comes time to part with school notebooks, save the spirals. They work great to collect stray cords and wires. Attach the spiral horizontally to a strip of wood using a hot-glue gun.

Foam Pipe Insulation

Go to the home improvement store and buy some foam pipe insulation. (It usually has a lengthwise slit in it; if not, cut one yourself.) Run the cords through the tube, and allow them to come up through the slit wherever needed. Stick the whole thing behind your desk or nightstand, and you won’t have to look at unsightly cords again!

Copper Wire

Once you’ve untangled the web and wrangled your cords into individual bundles, wrap each one with a stretch of unused copper wire. Simply twist the ends of the wire together to keep your bundled cord intact.

Ponytail Holders

Keep them neat and out of the way with ponytail holders or rubber bands, or fold up detachable cords and store them in paper towel tubes—label the tubes to remind yourself which cord belongs to which appliance. This works well for storing Christmas tree lights, too.

Hair Clips

Use old or broken hair clips (the claw variety) to tame cords from hair dryers and straighteners. Just wrap the cord neatly and clamp to keep in place.

Plant Pots

Keep them straight by storing them in upside-down plant pots. Stash them underneath the pots in the garage and, when you need one, pull the plug end through the hole in the pot’s bottom.

Stop Spinning The Cables

Notice how you typically wear and remove headphones when using them. It’s common to spin the equipment without paying attention, which eventually tangles the wires.

Optimize The Room

There are always ways to customize the room to serve as an ideal setting, especially if you dedicate the space for your Hi-Fi audio equipment. As audiophiles, we know that many cables and wires will be present in our home studio, and for organizing them, there are changes one can make.

Clear Up Space

It’s vital to offer any HiFi audio equipment an ideal room to breathe. In addition to that, whatever space we use for tech gear, in general, must be clean and tidy. This kind of care is suitable both for headphones and any other equipment lying around.

Keep Things On The Box

We love our audio equipment, and we usually have a lot of them too. The issue with audio gear is that they and their wires are occupying space when they’re not doing anything. Microphones, speakers, and amplifiers, for example, has as many cables, or even more, as headphones.

Separate Hardware

There are handy tools to aid audiophiles in keeping their hardware in an ideal setting. The messy placement of audio equipment can quickly cause wires to tangle.

Use Fewer Wires

Headphone wires often join in at the party when a tangle of audio cables happens. One of the ways to avoid this cord meetup from happening is to reduce their numbers. Since headphones don’t typically allow for reducing their cord number, other hardware can provide this option.

See Ideal Wires

Not only wires but also ideal headphones. Any wire-tangling problem that conventional headphones create quickly disappears using wireless versions of the same gear. The only inconvenience with those will be charging them, which is not that big of a deal.

Okay, this is from memory but I believe there are actually two red wires. On the lower portion of the board, closest to the battery, there is a V and a G silkscreened on the board. The red wire goes to the V and the black wire goes to the G. These are the wires that most often detach.

Be careful with the button on the circuit board. I broke one trying to put it back together on a ego to. Had to depress the button with a shim. The easiest way is to get the board back in and glue it in place. Then solder the wire back on. The board tends to come back out if you dont and then u have to use the shim again.

Hello everyone, so i started vaping and quit smoking at the same time and it was easy as pie. It was going very well until about a week ago i started too get a tingly or Pins And Needles sensation all over my body randomly through out the day.

Bebop

If you think about it, quitting smoking is QUITE a change to put your body through.

Itsmedeanna64

No way of knowing for sure but I would guess it's your nic level. Maybe try going down and see if that helps. Cigarettes do some really weird things to your body and even more so when you cut it off I'd think. One thing that came as a big surprise to me was not healing after surgery. It caused me a lot of problems.

jonnoh

When I first replaced smoking with vaping, I got those pins and needles sensations mostly in my fingers and lower extremities. I put it off to improving circulation. Smoking closes blood vessels and that's why smokers tend to have cold feet and hands and men experience less sensation in that other important area.

Mirage

Jonnoh, I hate to tell you this but, its the nic that constricts our blood vesels and capalaries. That is why some men that smoke have ED but can still wake up with an oak tree in the morning. Hours have gone by and there nic level has droped therefore allowing better blood flow to our little buddy.

jonnoh

Mirage, thanks for the 'heads up' I know nicotine is a vasoconstrictor but only from experience and anecdotal evidence circulation has improved with vaping including nicotine. I am convinced there are other agents in tobacco smoke that contribute.

Alexlikes fruithoops

Hi, I know that I'm late but I have your exact same story, like literally, the exact story. I even smoked the same brand. Can you give an update. Have your fingers fallen off? Did vaping cause some sort of weird cancer in your baby teeth.
