Usually Vg is too thick for tanks though it's posisble one was thinned enough to work. In general tanks like 20-30% VG though some thinner 50/50 juices may work.

I don't know, but sometimes if you take to big a pull on any descent pv you might cough b/c it's to much vapor. It may be a matter of getting used to it.
