Feb 17, 2013 · I am thinking doing his way. - find the location of the connecting leaf under the wrap. mark it and stay away from it. - make a PLASTIC sharp pointed tool. - progressively tear the original wrap with it. - follow the tear with the new shrink wrap. the idea is to avoid having the PCB and connecting leaf loose.

Poor safest sake don't try to tape a battery for use of an 18650 whether it's for a pipe,mod or a dual 18650 box mod. Better safe then sorry. I'd suggest picking up some quality 18650 batteries. my suggestions would be from Sony, Efest, Kangertech has one decent ones but mould stick,to a brand name that is know for the quality.

A battery wrap is a heat shrinkable PVC sleeve that slots over the battery. The sleeve should be long enough to protrude over the top and bottom of the battery by approximately 3mm. Step 2: Cutting Wrap
When flat it is 30 mm wide, inner diameter is few milimeters wider than 18650, so about 18.5mm. It is thin so it should fit in flashlights or e-cigs.
Step 3: Remove Old Wrap
When you remove wrap cut down on negative terminal, if you cut on positive you might short battery.
Step 4: Rewrapping
If you removed paper ring, now it's time to put it back on top of battery and put wrap on it.#N#You should have 3-4mm on each end, depends on how much you left it (3mm in this case).
