I think if you do the "stealth-vape", with an extra inhale and blow the exhale through the collar of a shirt you'll be better off. I just blew a ripper in the corner of the bathroom, while looking out the window and didn't notice that I was standing right under the detector. Pretty low ceiling too.

I probably would be more low profile and do the stealth vape method. Can't imagine the consequences if im caught. Probably expelled from school and get into trouble with the law as well. Too risky :3

LMAO, too funny, and too much like something I'd do. Though I do make a stealth mix that, if I hold it in for a couple of seconds, produces no visible vapor - handy for those long no smoking or vaping meetings - yeah right, me not have my nic, are you insane.

I learned this lesson at home. I have a relatively new detector in my office and if I cloud up the room enough, it will go off. Sure startled me the first time! So I am now very careful when in hotel rooms and other places. I check for detectors before vaping and then make sure I don't vape heavy enough or close enough to set them off.

Where and When is It Safe to Vape in Public?

Vape enthusiasts come from all walks of life. Some have transitioned from cigarettes to vape and are reaping the rewards. Some are legal stoners who mix their own infused e-juice. Some are gadgeteers who love the idea of beautiful glowing boxes and tasty clouds on those merits alone.

Local Vape Laws

The first step is to check out your local laws. Some state laws have expanded their limitations on smoking indoors to include e-cigarettes, so brush up on your state laws to see if that limitation applies and, if so, where.

Casing the Joint

Next, understand that every venue will have it's own policies about vape, no matter what the current laws say. In fact, some venue vape policies will change depending on which manager is on duty. So you'll need to scope out each place you want to vape to determine how likely your vape is to be permitted.

Acknowledge the Vape Myths

One important step is to acknowledge the scary vape myths. Yes, they're dumb and untrue, but they've been repeated so many times that a lot of people believe the myths. They believe strongly, often with the conviction of someone who has lost a relative to smoking or drug use and fear seeing that spread in any way.

Where Not to Vape

With this in mind, it's actually pretty easy to cross off a big section of places where it would not be safe to vape. Schools, for instance. Hospitals and medical clinics. Daycares. Any place where a member of the staff would be horrified to see someone with a cigarette, do not bring your vape.

Follow the Smoke Trail

On the flip-side, you can use the same rules to determine where vaping will definitely be accepted: Anywhere there are already cigarettes. Because people can't tell the difference between a cig and an e-cig, they also usually make the same exceptions.

Demographic Clues

Another clue to look for is the demographic of the venue. Just like children and old people indicate that you should not vape, a high number of young adults can indicate a vape-friendly venue. Clubs, bars, restaurants, and attractions that cater to the younger crowd are also more likely to be hip to vaping.

Can you set off alarms for vaping?

Actually some vapers have managed to set off alarms vaping, but they mentioned having to blow large plumes directly at the sensor to set it off. Some units have visual sensors as well so use caution. I've yet to set one off, but in places like airplane bathrooms which are so small, it would be wise to not fog the place up lol

Can you use a non-smlley tobacco w/ peach?

Yes - just don't use liquids with funky odors that stick around - like not a Turkish blend etc. I used to use a non-smlley tobacco w/ some peach mixed in. Now I use vanillas and chocolates/cocoas. I use Vapor4Life WOWbacco (a mostly cocoa tobacco ). If it's a stall, hold the vapor longer in your lungs and blow it down into your lap or chest. And avoid liquids with high VG (their vapor can stick around)

Can I vape in the office?

You may want to run it by your HR department. I asked mine and they said I could vape in the office as long as there was no fire, flame (I don't exactly understand the difference), and no smoke, and of course no one complains. I've been vaping at work for a 4 months now.
