How do you vape big clouds?

Small changes to the way you inhale and exhale while using a vaping device can affect the clouds produced. Try leaning forward slightly and straightening back up as you inhale. Straightening up while inhaling naturally opens up the lungs and allows more vapour to enter them.

How do I make my vape smoke thicker?

Get the Right PG:VG Ratio As a general rule of thumb, an e-liquid that has a higher ratio of VG to PG will produce thicker vape clouds whereas an e-liquid with a higher ratio of PG to VG will deliver a harsher throat 'hit'. Some e-liquids are available with 100% VG.

What vape tank blows the biggest clouds?

While smaller vape tanks like the Innokin Zenith D22 and Zenith 2 are great for everyday, and more discreet use, to get really big clouds, you're going to need a low sub ohm tank with a low resistance coil.

Does more airflow mean bigger clouds?

Increasing airflow (to an extent) means more fresh air to cool vapor temperature; this not only gives you added cooling capacity making it more comfortable to inhale, but it also increases the size of your cloud.

Why am I not getting big clouds from my vape?

Increase your power Increasing the power of your device will allow you to vaporize e-liquid at a much quicker pace. People have discovered that vaping with a powerful battery, and a low resistance coil is an effective way to increase vapor production.

What wattage should I set my vape to?

Often, regardless of the type of tank, the best performance of the majority of vapes occurs between 80 and 100 watts. Higher wattages will render your coil “useless” – burn out and reduce the battery life.

What coil makes the biggest clouds?

Use coils rated below 0.5 ohms: Low resistance coils that are 0.5 ohms and below can handle more wattage and generally produce bigger clouds.

Why does my vape not make much smoke?

While low vapor production can be associated with a low battery charge, more often than not it has something to do with your e-liquid. Check your tank to make sure you have enough e-liquid. If your tank is completely full but you still have weak vapor, it is possible that your atomizer or coil has been flooded.

Is more airflow better for vaping?

With an increased airflow, you will experience less flavor, less of a harsh throat hit and more vapor (with a cooler and looser draw). With a decreased airflow, you will experience more flavor, more of a harsh throat hit, and less vapor (with a hotter and tighter draw).

Huge clouds are really not for beginners. You can get better (but not huge) clouds with the right setup on your X6, but since you just started, why not work your way up?

Munnin Moved On

Won't get it from a carto. I don't Alice "big clouds" because you have to get into rebuidables, know how to spot shorts, and know your battery amp limits.

Munnin Moved On

Large plumes of vapor is something you work up to. You need to study some things and learn. Get to know battery spec sheets and know what they are capable of. Then get a decent mech mod and rebuidable drip atomizer for starters. Invest in a good charger and a multimeter and ohm reader...or just the multimeter.

A simple way to get larger clouds: more VG in your liquids. Besides adding more VG to your e-liquid PG/VG ratio, different styles of coils, wicking, and material will affect your cloud performance.

Baditude ECF Guru ECF Veteran

I agree with Rob above. To get the huge clouds you'll need to use more advanced equipment that require some self-education on your part. These are not for "novice" vapers. Battery and mod safety are a must. Start here:

Munnin Moved On

A heavy VG base liquid is the easiest way. a kayfun isn't a typical tank as it doesn't come with a stock coil head. You have to know how to rebuild your own coils, and it even then its not designed for big clouds of vapor, but in producing the best flavor possible. Drilled out air holes also can make a big difference.

So, basically, what you're saying is I need an entirely new vape kit for the huge clouds?

Noah Weigert New Member

So I'm new to vaping and j was wondering what kind of hit gets the thickest clouds .. not biggest but thickest ..

I agree with the veterans here that there are endless ways to get thick clouds.

I buy 16mg menthol liquid and cut it 50/50 with glycerin this and my cloud beast tfv8 on my alien at 90watts make some respectable clouds. Nice thick white satisfying clouds. Best of luck to you. Vape on.

High or MAX VG with a Multiple Coil Atomizer is a Tank set to the sweetest wattage to deliver a good cool vape. Even a single SS316L coil in a High Powered MOD set to the sweet spot in TC Mode.

batteredwombat Super Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

A simple question, but there is no simple answer. The right atomizer with the right coil with the right wicking, the right airflow combination with right juice. In addition to hours of experimentation and endless equipment combinations, 'thickest' is also highly subjective and what may be soup to one may be broth to another.

what i found is this (and I stand corrected on this), The cooler the vape the bigger the vapor and ofcourse the more wick surface area expose to the heating element (kanthal or Nichrome) the more vapor the particular device would produce.

dirtbagblz Full Member Verified Member

i have been vaping for almost 3 months and have spent around $700 on liquids , PV, RBA, RDA, etc. And in my quest of looking for the best cloud of holy goodness i have discovered the nimbus RDA.

dirtbagblz : are you using the standard nimbus or you have modded it? also whats your setup?

You don't need huge and thick clouds o' vapor. This is a theatrical trick posed by vapor charlatans that include some of the biggest names in "video vapor reviews ." Ordinary ex-smokers of 40 years get by just fine without the huge clouds o' vapor.

Magsimus858 Full Member

i have a single coil ( 2/3 wrap with 30 gauge kanthal around silica wick) on my igo-l with one air hole bored out (not sure the exact size) on my k100 and its like a cloud machine !

Is the Nautilus a cloud tank?

The Nautilus isn't really a cloud type tank. You're going to want to look at the delta 2 or Arctic tank or other sub ohm tanks. I would run 0.5 ohm coils with a Samsung 25r battery and charge it with a nitecore d2 charger. They are all relatively cheap. The delta 2 can be found on vaporbeast for like 15 bucks now with coupon codes it's a steal.

Should I read up on battery safety before using a mech mod?

You should read up on battery safety and ohms law though before using a mech mod. If your shop recommended a Nautilus on a mech mod, well I'd pick a different, better and more knowledgeable shop.

Hello. I have been vaping for almost 2 months now, and am completely off the stinkies!! Yeah!! Celebration dance! Anyway, I may be weird, but I am not so much concerned with huge amounts of cloud. I have two shops that are about half an hour away from me.

Wow1420 Ultra Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

If you're weird, then so am I. I have a number of different setups, tried all types of VG/PG ratio liquids. The least of my concerns in choosing what to use is how much visible vapor they put out.

antony73 Senior Member ECF Veteran

For me, the big clouds are not for cloud's sake alone. I think the "cloud thing" for many is that there is more flavor with a bigger cloud. Big clouds also use more liquid, drain the battery faster, but, more flavor. So for some, clouds may be important, for others, it's the flavor and the cloud is a by product.

autobiogphnation Super Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

I like a medium cloud. If I get little clouds I'm disappointed, but I don't need them huge. I experimented with lower resistance builds and I had higher resistance builds doing almost the same but I didn't have to deal with the battery drain being so quick.

DeloresRose Vaping Master ECF Veteran

I don't care about clouds, either. I'm more into flavor. The people at the shops near me, some don't even know what's in the juice. My advice for you is to seek gear advice here, because there is such a range of ideas. And you may find DIY gets you the juice you want.

SteamWhistle Full Member

I use to be satisfied with a t3s and a junky ego. Then suddenly one day I decided to go variable voltage. Then some time later decided to get a better tank. Then fast forward to sub ohm all day every day because of the flavor and the hit.

epicdoom Super Member ECF Veteran

Not weird at all I started off with just enough vapor to a nice feeling in my chest. That was something I could never get from the cigalikes. I am 3 months into vaping and apparently my lung capacity is much better so I had to use other gear like Drippers and some hot builds to get the vapor to fill my lungs the way I like it.

Aloha! Pfft, so I still haven't figured out how to do carriage returns in this "Advanced" editor, probably something to do with me using IE10 in Windows 8, but I digress... What I want to find out is...

graybuck Super Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

Lots of VG in your juice and long slow draws. Most of the reviewers take a 5 to 8 second drags. Practice with the right juice and you can do the same. I have good vapor with 50/50 juice and decent vapor with 70/30

kiwivap Vaping Master Verified Member ECF Veteran

Just when you thought it couldn't get harder (have you seen this one?):

SissySpike Vaping Master Verified Member ECF Veteran

Some of its know how A fresh cart or atty will produce great vapor at the right setting. RBAs when tuned in right can make clouds also if your using a clearo you just dont get that great of vapor production from them I use 70pg/30vg and get great vapor from my stuff. It takes some trial and error and playing around.

Bosco Super Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

Pretty much what everybody else has said - but also make sure there isn't a cieling fan or desk fan on where you're vaping. It sounds funny . .but the other day I was vaping in my room and thought my atty was dying or something - i was getting very little vapor. The cieling fan was on, lol.
