How to inhale smoke from a red hot burner?
Take a spoon and put it o the red hot burner. Bend the mouthpiece so that you can hold it steady and drop a piece in it as you inhale through a toilet paper tube or something else that is at least a 1/2 inch wide so that you can inhale quickly and not waste the smoke. My ex showed me this when he was doing hard one night. I have never tried it with shards but assume the logistics are the same.

the two easiest ways is first to take a swirly lightbulb, wrap it with a towel and break it so you have a curved tube. take the longest piece and clean it out, then you can either use it like that (heating the rock in the lowest part of the curve and toking thru the top of the bulb but careful not to cut yourself) or take a straw and fit it inside. second you can take a piece of tin foil put your stuff on that and light it from the bottom while using a straw/paper funnel to inhale the smoke that comes off. if you want a decent hit though, take any type of bottle, juice box etc and put one straw through the top of the bottle far from the water/juice but fully inside, and put another straw inside the water (about 2–3 inches at least of water?) with the end through the lid and fit your piece/bulb on that and load it up. there you go, got yourself a makeshift bong.
Can you vape liquid?
So to answer your question, it’s conceivable that any standard vaping device made for liquid would work if you made or had access to a proper solution with which to use it. I am pretty sure that the mixture would gunk up your heating elements fairly quickly, and the smell may be difficult to mask.

You’d have to apply a consistent amount of heat once you found the proper mixture and the proper temperature in order for it to produce enough vapor for it to be worthwhile. As is true with vaping any liquid, the risk of dry coils introducing your mouth to a very unique and unfriendly flavor would be present, and you would need to make sure that your coil and/or wicking stayed wet constantly while vaping.
