Besides pairing, you need to alternate which one is top, between charges. Most would not deal with the hassle and just use a single 18650.

Two battery mods are designed to have them run in parallel, stacking batteries will put them in series.I can't imagine a scenario where it is "safe" to stack batteries, especially if the mod is designed to use 1 18650. Should a battery vent, the vent holes will hopefully prevent your face from blowing off, but I wouldn't risk it to save 10$.

stacking in some VV/VW mods is allowed ( be sure to read the pamphlet that came with the mod)... it is NOT advisable to stack in mech mods... there is no battery protection.

There was a time when stacking was the only way to get MORE POWER, those days are long gone.
What you can do with AVB
The easiest method to ingest AVB is to sprinkle it onto a peanut butter sandwich and go to town. It also works well with pasta, Nutella and graham crackers, smoothies and more.
A word of caution
