you don't have to worry about the hole the stopper will close itself, unless your using a gigantic needle to draw with.

Just make sure you swab the top before you insert the needle. This will kill any bacteria that is on the outside of the stopper.

yeah u open the cap wrongly already.. base on ur description u pull the cap out by force together with the tip thats why ur liquid spill out.
