Step 1: Custom Fire Button
I happened across these mother of pearl beads and knew they were a box mod firing button, everything else was pretty much designed around them.
Step 2: Front Design Engraving
I originally used aluminium but it was hard to follow a line while engraving as the engraver tip seemed to wander off as soon as it bit into the soft metal.
Step 3: Wood Cutting
I started with a block of Pau-Marfim and dremeled out the internal shape for the electronics and battery.
Step 4: On Switch and Voltage Monitor
A simple circuit to monitor the batt voltage will ensure safe device use.
Step 5: Assembly and Electronics
I started with installing the 510 connector, next was the fuse and the pos batt terminal. Once their positions were known they were all soldered together.
Step 7: Finishing
I used Woodoc 20 polyurethane thinned 50/50 with turps as a stabilizing agent.

All of the individual battery sleds are wired in parallel. This means that all batteries will face the same direction. You must use protection. Upload your project
Remove the nano from your project, and connect it to your PC. Verify the code above, and install any libraries with you are missing.
Testing your project
Check for any shorts with your multimeter. Check continuity of all connections to ensure you have no broken wires.
Review of important warnings
The delay () function could prevent your MOSFETS from shutting off while the power level is higher than 0. That is why this code uses a snapshot of the currentmillis to keep track of timed features. This way the loop can continue to scan, and shut off the MOSFETS at a reasonable time.
5 Tips for Designing Your Own Box Mod
So you’ve been vaping for a while. You enjoy using conventional box mods, but you notice you don’t like the technology and their use. If only you could make your own box mod, right? Well, fortunately, you can!
What You Need
There are a few required materials for your DIY box mod. You can easily acquire these materials.
1. Build Your Enclosure and Lay Your Parts Out
Take your enclosure and even it out. The easiest way to do this is by sanding the inside. Some enclosures are slanted on the inside, which is bad for the batteries.
2. Drill the Holes
Start drilling the holes where you’ll place your connector and switch. This step isn’t as simple as it looks — you need to drill the right-size holes for each part.
3. Insert the Wires
If this is your first DIY box mod, understanding the wiring can be difficult. The easiest trick to remember is where to place the positive and negative wires.
4. Connect Everything
The last part is connecting everything. Make sure all parts are placed securely into the enclosure.
5. Test the Product
Here’s the fun part — testing the product. Insert some batteries, make sure you place the positives and negatives in the correct places. Take some cheap flavor and lay it on the coil.
