Shy away from silica wicks. That might help, ever since I went to SS mesh (not for everyone but cotton should help as well) my throat hit is still there but it's not a scratchy, harsh hit. For me ditching the silica has opened up a whole new sensation as far as throat hit and flavor is concerned.

You failed to mention, at least in this thread, what juice delivery devices that you are using. More info would be helpful. Are you now using cartomizers? If so, what is the ohm or resistance rating? Single or dual coil?

Try changing up the way you inhale your vape instead of lung hits try to hold it in your mouth longer like a cigar, the nicotine absorbs better through the mouth than deep hits vs analogs since the juices doesn't have like 4000 chemicals to shoot it from your lungs to your brain at internet-like speeds.

RedhatPat made some good points that I would like to make just a little clearer.

Yah what Baditude said. He's like a sober version of me. Kidding, also remember to drink a lot of water. Especially at night before bed. Some fruit juicies during the day help. Sodas can make good palette cleansers too.
