Take a second paper towel and dampen with water, wiping in straight lines across your windows. Buff with a clean, dry paper towel until your windscreen is sparkling clean. We’ve been told that the washing up liquid method helps create a barrier to stop the vape film forming again quite so quickly.

One of the best solutions is to cut the amount of VG in your e-liquid, at least in the juice you use at home. The likeliness is your using a high VG content juice, probably around 70/30 VG/PG, so try using a 50/50 mix. This cuts down the amount of sticky VG in your vapor and will reduce the misting up no end.Apr 9, 2018

Identifying the Problem

We all know that vaping isn’t smoking, and the majority of us actually started vaping to quit smoking and prevent the horrible smell lurking around. Whilst vaping solves the majority of problems, the creation of misty windows is one we now need to tackle!

Top Solutions

There are many solutions you can try to help reduce the fog, but in all honesty none of them are going to completely eliminate the problem, so it’s just going to have to be one that you live with.

Other Solutions

You may also want to try washing your windows with your normal window cleaner but adding vinegar to the mix. Make sure you rub it in really good, as the vinegar makes the vapor harder to stick to. In time though it will get past and start misting up again, it does make the windows clearer for longer.

I have been using Stoner Invisible Glass (I get it at wally world) and a waffle weave microfiber towel. It can take a couple of passes to get it really clean. I am having to clean them once a week as I spend a fair amount of time in the car.

I just use Windex and paper towel, I never really get a film from vaping though.

This may sound weird but it may depend on the car also. No problem in the Mustang it did not build up. The MB was horrible, nothing would get it off. The Xterra I just wipe with a kitchen towel.

I really don't have the build up others have complained about, but I use this and a microfiber cloth. I usually crack a window open while vaping. I like being able to see while I am driving-LOL. I clean my windshield a couple times a year and have been vaping for 4 years. YMMV

I drive a semi for a living (or adventure) so I vape inside a vehicle 20+ hours a day. Buildup hasn't been a problem but I have noticed it on really cold mornings. I just wipe it off with a blue microfiber. However about once a month I use the Rain-X wipes on them so they are kind of pre-treated.

I've read that a little cornstarch in the window cleaner (shake before using) keeps it from streaking.

Rain x makes a fog free wipe for interiors that may work, just have to get the windows squeaky clean before applying.
