How to make your vape more vape-friendly?

To get bigger clouds, you can also increase the power flowing through the electronic cigarette. With other factors like the e-juice concentration constant, raising the power setting of the device will give bigger clouds. However, at higher power setting the coils will produce more heat resulting in a higher temperature.

Does vaping produce smoke?

Oct 04, 2019 · 1. Look at Your Device's Power. In short, the higher the voltage of your device's battery, the more intense your vaping experience will be, and the bigger your vape clouds will be, too. If you have a device with a low voltage (e.g. traditional e-cigs and basic vape pens) then you may struggle to get thick clouds.

What is the best VG to PG ratio for vape juice?

Nov 30, 2016 · Firstly, if you increase the power of your vape through higher wattages or lower resistance coils, the vapor's temperature increases and may become too hot to vape comfortably. How do I get my vape to produce more smoke?

Lean forward slightly and exhale again to get rid of excess air in your lungs. Without inhaling, blow the remaining air into your device so that you can see the vapor escape the air vents. This will increase the vapor production when you inhale through your device, giving you a kick-start on your cloud.Nov 30, 2016

Why is my vape not giving a lot of smoke?

While low vapor production can be associated with a low battery charge, more often than not it has something to do with your e-liquid. Check your tank to make sure you have enough e-liquid. If your tank is completely full but you still have weak vapor, it is possible that your atomizer or coil has been flooded.Oct 3, 2016

Does VG make bigger clouds?

The correct mix of PG and VG will allow you to create massive clouds without having a harsh throat hit. E-liquids that have a higher percentage of vegetable glycerin will generate denser, thicker vape clouds than vape juices with a higher propylene glycol percentage.

Does more airflow use more juice?

Higher airflow can decrease the amount of juice needed, because it remains on the coils. When using lower airflow, you'll gain more flavor from your vape. When less air encounters the coils, it forces the vapor out quicker as well as becomes warmer.Apr 12, 2017

How long does it take for your lungs to heal from vaping?

After two weeks: your circulation and lung function begin to improve. After one to nine months: clear and deeper breathing gradually returns; you have less coughing and shortness of breath; you regain the ability to cough productively instead of hacking, which cleans your lungs and reduce your risk of infection.

What vape juice gives the most smoke?

VG, on the other hand, is thicker with a sweet taste. It doesn't hold the flavour quite so well as PG, and gives less of a throat hit (which some people prefer), but if you want more vapour then VG is the way to go as it produces large amounts when vaped.Apr 26, 2016

Why am I not getting big clouds from my vape?

Inhaling technique – when you're not sucking hard enough

To get lots of vapour, you need enough airflow to cool the coil and help your cloud condense. Even when the airflow setting on your tank is at maximum, it's no good if you're not inhaling enough to make use of it.

What is the difference between VG and PG in vape?

As a general rule of thumb, an e-liquid that has a higher ratio of VG to PG will produce thicker vape clouds whereas an e-liquid with a higher ratio of PG to VG will deliver a harsher throat 'hit'. Some e-liquids are available with 100% VG. These are designed especially for people who want to produce the thickest vape clouds.

How to get thick clouds on a vape?

What is the ratio of vape clouds?

A huge factor when it comes to vape clouds is the PG:VG ratio present in the e-liquid you are using. Depending on the e-liquid, you could see ratios of 50:50, 80:20, and 40:60, for example.

Why do vapes have bigger clouds?

Increasing the device's airflow can also result in bigger clouds. When more air is flowing through your vape, the coil's temperature is kept low and this creates a cooling effect that aids the condensation process. Again, we will look at a device with adjustable airflow later.

Why do people call vapour smoke?

Many people call vapour 'vape smoke' because it looks like cigarette smoke, however, the two could not be any more different .

What is smoke in the air?

Smoke is "a visible suspension of carbon or other particles in the air, typically one emitted from a burning substance" by its literal definition.

Can you vape thick clouds?

The Best Vape for Thick Vape Clouds. Unfortunately, if your device is not powerful enough or adjustable, you will not be able to produce the thickest possible vape clouds. If you are using a basic e-cig or vape pen, you are unlikely to be able to control your clouds' thickness no matter how hard you try.

Why is it so hot to vape?

Firstly, if you increase the power of your vape through higher wattages or lower resistance coils, the vapor's temperature increases and may become too hot to vape comfortably. Increasing the airflow allows for more fresh air to come in and cools the temperature of the vapor, making it more comfortable to inhale.

How to make vapor explode?

At the last moment, when you feel you’re almost out of air, tighten your lips. This will shoot out a powerful shot of air that will cause the released vapor to explode into a huge cloud.

What happens when air goes over coil?

When the air going over your coil increases, your device is able to produce vapor at a quicker pace. When the vapor production increases, the vapor is pushed out of the device quicker and therefore increases the rate at which the "old" vapor can be replaced with "new vapor". Voila!

How to open up your throat when you inhale?

Now (this may take some practice) exhale at a steady normal pace while simultaneously pushing your jaw out slightly. By pushing out your jaw, you allow your throat to open up so that vapor can easily escape.

How to get clouds?

Let me take you through a basic 6 step guide on a technique that should help you produce bigger clouds. Exhale and empty your lungs completely. Lean forward slightly and exhale again to get rid of excess air in your lungs.

What is the difference between PG and VG?

PG is what provides the flavour and throat hit, whilst VG provides the vapor. Therefore, if your intention is purely to increase vapor production and produce bigger clouds, then you need an e-juice that’s high in VG. Juices' that contain a 100% VG ratio are available, and will be able to produce large, thick clouds.

How to get rid of air in your lungs?

Lean forward slightly and exhale again to get rid of excess air in your lungs.

What is the atomizer in an e-cigarette?

From the heating coil to the connection to the battery, it plays a vital role in how much vapor your e-cig produces. If you aren’t getting big enough clouds, you could change this by investing in an atomizer that allows you to lower the resistance.

Can you get clouds from a starter e-cigarette?

As we mentioned earlier, you are simply not going to be able to get big clouds if you are still re lying on a small starter e-cigarette. These types of e-cigs are not designed to handle the airflow that is necessary to produce clouds.

I must be doing something wrong, because my vivi nova does not produce half the vapor of a proper carto w/ tank. Have you tried a proper resistance cartomizer to see the difference?

50/50 blends tend to be thin enough for vivi novas and produce a good amount of vapor. Even the 40/60 pg/vg blend from HHV is thin enough. It is relatively thick compared to other juices I have but it still works. But, if you really want CLOUDS of vapor then go for the 100% VG as gthompson suggested.

What is the best vape tank for clouds?

What’s the best type of vape tank for cloud vaping? While smaller vape tanks like the Innokin Zenith D22 are great for everyday, and more discreet use, to get really big clouds, you’re going to need a low sub ohm tank with a low resistance coil. One of my favourite tanks for clouds is the Falcon II from HorizonTech.

How many watts does a Geekvape Obelisk 200 vape have?

Although surprisingly compact, the device is powered by two 18650 and can push up to 200 watts of power. It’s also paired with the excellent Zeus tank.

How does airflow affect vapour?

The airflow over your coil cools down the vapour, and this makes it condense into liquid droplets. So the more airflow you have, the more condensation there is and the more visible “vapour” (i.e. aerosol) you produce. The extra airflow also “dilutes” the vapour with more air, which has the effect of puffing it out.

Why are mesh coils so popular?

The “fan” mesh coils in the Falcon take the basic formula but improve it by adding a conical shape, which concentrates the vapour before it reaches the mouthpiece. This boosts the flavour you get as well as the improvements to the vapour production that come with any mesh design.

How does e-liquid prevent vapour from being created?

This effectively prevents new vapour from being created if your airflow is completely closed off (or close to it ).

When you're not sucking hard enough, do you need to inhale?

Inhaling Technique – When you’re not sucking hard enough. Yes, I just used that title! To get lots of vapour, you need enough airflow to cool the coil and help your cloud condense. Even when the airflow setting on your tank is at maximum, it’s no good if you’re not inhaling enough to make use of it.

Where to start airflow coil?

Start on the maximum airflow setting and a low wattage, towards the bottom end of the range suggested on your coil.

Why is it better to use a large vape tank?

Indeed, it is the larger, the better since producing dense clouds consumes more e-juice. And so to avoid constant refilling or the embarrassment of having your device run out of e-juice while you are vaping, it is best to opt for large capacity tanks. This is because they are the best vape tanks for getting maximum clouds.

What is the beauty of vaping?

The ‘beauty’ of vaping for most vapers lies in the thick, aromatic clouds of vapor that are created. It most cases, only specialized vape devices (sub-ohm) produce such clouds, hence the shift towards such devices. There are other ways around producing such clouds especially if you do not want those specialized devices.

What is a Vaporesso Skrr tank?

Vaporesso Skrr Tank: This sub-ohm tank sports great features; an 8ml e juice capacity and four airflow slots at the bottom. However, the best part is the QF coil system that provides excellent flow for e-juices with high VG content and thick, rich clouds. With this type of tank, dense clouds are not the only thing you blow; the mesh coils also allow you to blow soft, aromatic clouds too.

What is the firing rate of Vaporesso Luxe?

It has a rapid stable and safe firing rate of 0.0015. This allows for the quick heating that brings you clouds that are as dense as they are aromatic. Its OMNI board turns off the charging when you are vaping and vice versa while its quick charging feature shortens the charging time and makes it readily available for use.

How to increase wattage of e-liquid?

Increasing the power of your device enhances its capacity to vaporize e-liquids. Simply adjust the power setting to a higher one. This increases the wattage that flows through the coil, and invariably the quantity of vaporized juice. Start on a low setting and steadily increase the power until the flavor starts to decline or the vapor becomes uncomfortable to inhale. That is the point where you should stop. Moving beyond that might harm your device.

Why do RDA tanks have dense clouds?

The reason why RDA, RTA, and sub-0hm vaping tanks can produce dense clouds is because of the amount of current that passes through the coils. This is the principle behind adjusting the power settings of your device for maximum clouds. Increasing the power of your device enhances its capacity to vaporize e-liquids.

What do you need to vape?

If you're looking for a vape that will create large amounts of vapour, then you'll need three main things; a lot of power, a low resistance, and a high proportion of VG (vegetable glycerin) compared to PG (propylene glycol) in your e-liquid.

Which is better, VG or PG?

VG. Many of the flavours you see online and in vape shops will have a high percentage of PG (propylene glycol), which is thinner than VG, holds flavour better and is kinder to your equipment. VG is thicker, has a slightly sweet taste and can sometimes clog up the coils within your vape.

What is sub ohm vaping?

Sub-ohm vaping means to vape with an atomiser that has a coil with a low resistance (less than 1 ohm). The difference with these low-resistance attachments is that more of the power can then be used to heat up your e-juice.

Does vaping smoke?

As the saying goes, there's no smoke without fire. Vaping, by definition, doesn't actually produce any smoke. The clouds produced are simply vapour, caused by heating up your e-liquids.

Can you build your own atomiser?

You can either build your own atomiser for this purpose, or buy one ready made. One word of caution, though - sub-ohm vaping is not recommended for beginners, and should only be undertaken by experienced vapers with a knowledge of ohm's law.

What is the best way to get more flavour in a vape?

For flavour chasers, closing off the airflow is the best approach. This produces a denser, warmer vape that carries a lot more flavour. Adjustable airflow systems on atomizers make this easy to achieve.

How to find the right setting for a vape?

The process of finding the right setting is the same – start low and adjust upwards as needed – but the result is a more consistently flavourful vape.

Why is it better to use a sub ohm tank or a smaller bore coil?

The crucial factor is the bore of the atomizer head. The trend towards larger bore coils leads to more airflow through the coil and can reduce the flavour as a result. So in most cases, it’s better to choose a sub-ohm tank with a smaller bore coil, if possible. These coils (and the tanks using them) are often advertised as supporting mouth-to-lung hits.

How long should you leave atomizer heads?

Leaving your atomizer heads until the wicks are completely dry is important (24 hours is usually enough), so it’s a good idea to have another head to use while it’s drying. If you use rebuildable atomizers, you can change your wick easily, so doing it with every change of flavour is more feasible.

Why is PG better than VG?

The typical advice in past years was that moving to higher-PG liquids is better for flavour. This is simply because VG imparts a slight flavour onto your juice, while PG doesn’t. It makes sense, and indeed is also why PG is used as a carrier for food flavourings rather the VG.

Why do different juices come out at different temperatures?

This is because specific flavourings vaporize at different temperatures, and your setting (in combination with your coil’s resistance) determines how hot your coil gets. For flavour-chasers, this is the major benefit of having a variable voltage/variable wattage device.

What material is used for e-cigarette wicks?

The material you use for your wick can have a big impact on the flavour you get. Silica wicks used to be the standard for e-cigarettes, but they mute the flavour of your e-liquid. That’s one of the reasons that cotton has now taken its spot as the wicking material of choice for vapers.

What is the best liquid for cloud chasing?

This is so you don’t get a harsh throat and so the experience is lighter. However for cloud chasing, it is best to have a VG heavy e-liquid because it is a thicker liquid which will result in denser ...

How to make clouds with low resistance coils?

There are a number of different ways to wick your low resistance coils including tucking the wick underneath the coil, tucking it behind the coil or clipping it without tucking. Getting your wicking right will give you the most use out of your e-liquid. A good technique is to cut both ends of a wick to create ‘tails’. Fluff these tails up a bit and tuck both of them under the coil. Make sure to clear a little airway though beneath the wick and push slightly to one side.

Why do cloud chasers use dual coils?

There is a choice between a single coil and dual coil however most cloud chasers choose to go for dual coils because it produces more vapor.

Do vapers blow clouds?

Vapers all around the world want to blow bigger clouds when vaping. Some of those vapers take it as far as to become "cloud chasers" which I will explain in more details what that involves. More and more vapers are buying RDA’s and sub ohm tanks to create the biggest clouds around. I’m going to explain in this blog post what cloud chasing is, what you need to know about cloud chasing and the possible dangers of cloud chasing.

Can you overcharge a mod?

But keep this in mind, misuse of batteries can potentially cause it to explode or catch fire. In short, make sure to never leave your mod charging unattended, never overcharge your mod and never use a charger that isn’t branded or that came with your mod.

Is cloud chasing safe for beginners?

Cloud chasing is certainly not for beginners or even intermediaries, it is only for those who are used to sub ohm vaping and want to take it to the next level. If you don’t know what you are doing, you could end up with a serious injury. Make sure to do your homework on this one and don’t rush into building a mod and firing it without knowing whether you have met all of the safety precautions. You are literally playing with fire.
