Welcome to ECF. You can try putting it in the freezer for a few minutes. I've had no issues breaking down my Zeus for coil/wicking or cleaning. Maybe you are trying to force the air towers into the wrong holes. If you do get it unstuck don't tighten down too much. Where are you getting the rta 's from?

Every tank I own will occasionally be hard to take apart. My answers for stuck pieces are to use a jar gripper, or the porcelain tweezes that come with the gripping tool. I have all three of the gripping helpers below and all are quite useful. The middle one is great - the smallest notch works well for tanks. Good luck!
