Today I pulled my twist out of my pocket and the battery had seperated. The cap where the threads and the buttons are had seperated from the battery cylinder. I pushed them back together but then realized the button was stuck inside and I could not get it to pop back out.

Okay, this is from memory but I believe there are actually two red wires. On the lower portion of the board, closest to the battery, there is a V and a G silkscreened on the board. The red wire goes to the V and the black wire goes to the G. These are the wires that most often detach.

Be careful with the button on the circuit board. I broke one trying to put it back together on a ego to. Had to depress the button with a shim.
