Just for the heck of it try a different drip tip. I found that a lot of flavor-laced condensation accumulates in the drip tip and center tube. I hold the drip tip or center tube under warm running water and clean them out with a pipe cleaner. I vape a lot of strong eliquids and never had a residual flavor problem.

I take my tank apart and rinse everything but the coil in hot water. The reason i don't do it with my coil is the first time I tried cleaning it I dry burned it and rinsed it with water and then dry burned it again. The next day it burnt out on me.
