First, after unscrewing as much as possible, of course - make sure there's no e-liquid left in the tank. Next, run a tiny screwdriver through the airflow slots and tap around a bit to loosen up the seals. If the tank still isn't budging, then place the whole segment in the freezer to make the seal loosen even more.

Should you know how to disassemble and reassemble your vape?

If you disassemble the tank down to the base, take out the coil and push down the pin with pliers whilst turning anti clockwise. Seems that some tanks are slightly short and just spin a bit. Tried a new tank and that got stuck until a pushed down slightly and turned. Bad design flaw.

Disassemble and reassemble your vape box mods

Even though vape mods are designed with customizability in mind, cleaning them can still be a chore. From the many already built-in parts to the extra technology you add, the little nooks and crannies of your box mod that you need to take care of add up quickly.

Box mod firing button

One of the most difficult parts of a mod to take apart is the firing button. This button is usually made up of a few parts. There is the button itself, which needs to be taken off and wiped down. Below that, you'll have a spring, which can also be taken off and scrubbed.

The vape battery

Another important part to know how to properly remove and reattach to your vape device is the vape battery. Of course, the vape battery is an absolutely critical component of your device. This is what gives your device the power to be able to heat up e-liquid to turn into vapor.

The vape tank and atomizer

The third and definitely not final part that you should definitely know how to disassemble and reassemble is the vape tank and vape atomizer complex. You may already know how to do this if you change your coils often, but it can never hurt to have a reminder.

Zephyrus Sub-Ohm Tank Introduction

Following hot on the heels of the Goblin and the Goliath, Youde now bring you the Zephyrus. According to Greek mythology Zephyrus was the god of the west wind but in the case of this device it is a Sub-Ohm tank that comes with its own rebuildable deck as well as a stock coil.

Zephyrus Sub-Ohm Tank Styling

In terms of actual aesthetics this is a decent looking tank, very solid and well put together. I find it shares many similarities visually with the version 2.0 Subtank Mini. The airflow control and the overall shape of the main tank itself is almost like a exact replica.

How does it vape?

When using the stock coil I found the Zephyrus to be a quite a good vape. I have tried the tank with both Captain's Reserve Monkey Business and Captain's Custard. It gave a very blended flavour to both which were very enjoyable. One point to note is that I found it a very warm vape and I think some people will find it a little bit too much.

Conclusion

A very solid tank bundled with a lot of extras. I still feel the flavour isn't as good as it could be. It might be satisfactory enough but it depends a lot on user preference. If you enjoy a very warm vape then this tank will be just right for you. Vapour production is more than acceptable.

Disassembling Bottom-Coil Clearomizers

In bottom coil, you need to unscrew the bottom to get access to the E-cig coils. After unscrewing, the base will come out along with atomizer head and stem will be still inside the clearomizer. This indicates that you can access the coil without emptying the tank too by inverting the clearomizer before unscrewing.

Disassembling Top-Coil Clearomizers

In top-coil clearomizers, the stem will also come out while disassembling the clearomizers. This indicates that to get access to the coil; the tank needs to be emptied first. For only refilling, these clearomizers have drip tip that screws into place, and you can get access by just removing the drip tip.

Disassembling Sub Ohm Tanks

In sub-ohm tanks, the working is similar to bottom coil clearomizers; the base needs to be unscrewed without emptying the tank. For the refill, the sub-ohm tanks are mostly filled from the bottom.

The Best Tank Ever (For Me)

Note* The more I wrote this review for the Youde UD Zephyrus V2 the more it started to look like a commentary piece. And, well, it is I guess. You won’t get many advanced vapers admitting that this sub-ohm tank is some award-winning sub-ohm tank, but to me, it doesn’t get any better. – JM

Conclusion

The more I used the Youde UD Zephyrus V2 sub-ohm tank the more I knew I was going to crown this tank the Best Ever Tank ( For Me ). Yes the flavor and the vapor production were everything I wanted in a sub-ohm tank, but there was more.
