Yeah I was calling that a 7. Nbd for me though cause let's say that's supposed to be a .3ohm and I'd be reading at maybe .35 for example. Not a deal breaker for me.

Give your wire a moment to cool then grab the other end of the wire and repeat. Oxidizing the wire will make it less “springy” and easier to work with.
