How to find the best wattage for your vape tank?

Jun 07, 2021 · Three Rules For Finding The Best Wattage For Your Vape Tank. Start Low. Even If Your Tank Says It Can Handle 150W, Start At 60W And Work Your Way Up; Higher Wattage Does Not Mean Better Vaping. I’d Rather Vape At 60W And Conserve My Coil Heads; Most Modern Sub Ohm Tanks Will Not Require More Than 80W – Even The High-Power Ones.

What are variable wattage vape devices and how do they work?

Originally, sub-ohm vaping was reserved for experienced vapers who want to push the boundaries with rebuildable coils. The introduction of mass-market vape vape mods has changed all that. For example, the Smok Morph 2 can fire up to a massive 230 watts and uses low resistance Plexus coils for larger clouds of vapour.

So vaping at 40w with really good flavor is far better than vaping at 70w with less flavor. (though you will get bigger clouds.) If your mod takes removable, rechargable batteries, stick to samsung, sony, lg.

How do I know how many watts my vape is?

Really, the most useful formulas for vapers, are the three that calculate current (I = V ÷ R) power (P = V x I) and resistance (R = V ÷ I). These will allow you to figure out the current your coil will draw and the wattage that will result. As you increase resistance, current and power will drop off.Sep 20, 2021

What are the numbers on my vape?

Wattage/Voltage Setting: The wattage and voltage setting of your box MOD is generally indicated by a number followed by the letter “W” for wattage, and “V” for voltage. For example, your screen may display: “14.1W” and “3.81V,” indicating a wattage of 14.1 and a voltage setting of 3.81.

I wish I could vote twice because I use my lemo at 30-35 watts and my dripper at 60-70 when not on a mech. I voted the 30-40 since I vape the lemo more than my dripper, tho.

Maiar Ultra Member ECF Veteran

I'm usually in the 5-10 range. Anything more tastes burnt. I don't know how those 150+ guys can do it.

iTiger Super Member ECF Veteran

There are entirely too many variables that go into what power I vape at; I use tanks, RTAs, RDAs of many sizes & types.

DaveSignal Ultra Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

I use mechs and RDAs exclusively. Most of my builds are at .21 ohm, unless I am doing something unusual or building a deck for 3 or more coils. 3-coil RDAs like my stillare v3 or onslaught are built at .15. With an extra coil, though, more power is needed.

Unfortunately IMO this is a hugely flawed poll as it does not qualify the type of device (s) you are including. For example: I would say I set my watts around 9.5 for my T3Ss, about 12 for a Nautilus, 27 for a Kanger Subtank, and finally roughly 90 on a mech with an atty built at 0.27ohms on a fresh battery.

Leave it to me to screw up the poll! I was thinking volts, not watts when I voted.
