How do I reset my joyetech vape?

What is the joyetech eVic VT?

eVic-VT is not your typical vape, it's an evolutionary start. The Variable Temperature (VT) system provides an almost perfect vaping experience with various e-juice through temperature control system, and at the same time, it decreases e-juice consumption. Also, it is economical in battery consumption.

How do you use a joyetech vaporizer?

To vape, turn the device on by pressing the fire button 5 times in quick succession, then hold the button while inhaling on the mouthpiece. The button light on the kit will flash 5 times to indicate that it is on. The AIO is turned off in the same way. Your Joyetech eGo AIO Kit comes with 2 coils.

Overview

Joyetech has updated the original ( not all that long ago actually) eVic VT and called it the eVic VTC Mini. The eVic VTC Mini is more compact compared to the original. In fact, if it weren’t for the beautiful OLED horizontally presented screen you wouldn’t recognize it as an eVic-Anything.

Impressions

We received our eVic-VTC’s more than 2 weeks ago, but I didn’t rush out to write a review because I thought I liked it more than I should. I wanted to wait to see if my feelings for the device would change, or if the device started to show some glitches.

Attractive design but poorly responsive touchscreen

Even if it is bigger (30.5 mm width) than any other regular boxes of the same power, its shape ensures a good catch in hand. Its heavy weight (229 g) remains acceptable, given the built in consequent 5000 mAh battery.

To vape or to listen to music, you have to choose

Upgrades and transfers of music and pictures are achieved through Joyetech’s VT software. The Ocular can cope with up to 100 jpeg pictures (in 240×320) and 50 songs (in mp3), only one upload at a time. The transfer is long and painful.

The Fire switch poses problems but the programmation brings ease of use

On the Ocular specimen I received for testing, the Fire switch has been a major weakness since it could get stuck after release. It happened a few times during this test. In addition, the Ocular does not always activate when pressing the Fire switch and it requires to do it again. The rest is

A complex system

One might wonder how Joyetech sees the evolution of its boxes. On paper, the concept is pleasant, but when the box is in you hands, you realize that most of these exotic features are not functional. In addition, most of these fonctions are already part of a basic smartphone that stays in our pocket all day long.

Conclusions

Rating of 2.5/5. Joyetech’s Ocular lease us with doubts. The new functionality are not convincing. The touchscreen is perfectible, the podometer useless, media functions lack usability. And most of all, the Fire switch was defective on our test specimen.

I actually love the ones I have with clocks especially when I’m out walking the dogs.

Okay so I bought a Modefined Draco 200W the other day because it was on sale cheap. When it goes into standby it has this giant clock displayed. It actually keeps the correct time even when I take the batteries out, kind of like how a PC keeps time when it's switched off.

My YiHi SXmini G Class and all of my DNA75C/250C mods have very accurate clocks.

I like the puff counter on the mods that have them, as long as it doesn't reset itself. It gives me a good idea of how well the mod has held up. 100K puffs is a good benchmark of a decent quality mod, sort of like an odometer!

Clocks ok but I'm really hanging out for a mod with a mobile phone integration.

I want a mod with little Keebler elves that come out at night and do all my rebuilding/rewicking for me (and leave me cookies too).
