So now I have a terrific setup, but can't quite figure out the best way to carry it around. Just dropping it into my purse doesn't seem like a good idea -it might leak out everywhere, but more importantly it might get damaged clanking against other items.

My vape is either always in my hand or in my pants pocket. Cargo pant/short pockets are perfect. In over six years of vaping, I've only had e-liquid leak into my pocket maybe one or twice. I should add that I generally only use a pocket-friendly setup when out and about.

Guess these are all guy perspectives here so far, mine too: back pocket by itself ot jacket / coat pocket. You could sew a little vape pocket in your purse potentially. I would do that to a jacket if I had to.

I carry several mods/units with me most of the time. Rarely do I carry spare loose charged batteries, so either in the units I have on hand with me, or the rare occasion I'm carrying spare batteries they are in a 2 or 4 bay plastic battery case like mentioned above.
