I know you're in the USA but i reckon that the regs are similar as they are in the UK. Persons under the age to sell licensed products can sell them as long as someone over the age to buy them agrees that the buyer is old enough.

It would depend on your work duties and hours. But, you have nothing to worry about. as the minor, you can't get in trouble, the store will. So, let them deal with it, and take the job if they offer it and you want to do the work. In short: it's not your problem, its theirs to worry about...
