Personally I've found its down to whatever coil you're using. Custards taste great in my Cleito at around 65 - 70 watts were some fruity liquids taste sour or even muted. Alternatively my Griffin with a dual twisted kanthal coil custards taste better at 35 - 40 watts and fruits around 50.

I have recently acquired a kayfun mini v3 and at 10.5 watts with a 1.4 ohm coil the flavour is astonishing, absolutely mindblowingly good. You can get fantastic flavour at low wattage it just depends on what you are building on. At the end of the day it's horses for courses, just saying it is possible
