Be careful when buying hemp wick. I have come across lots that have a waxy feeling to the twine and that ain't goin into my vape. I bought some hemp fiber loooong time ago from a ECF coop and been using it ever since. It outlasts cotton in my builds and has great wicking capabilities.

Unwaxed hemp is a great wick. As stated above during break in most times there is a woodsey taste to it, but when it does break in there is still a woodsey off taste with clearer and fruitier liquids.
