It's an apples to oranges thing. How much nicotine you vape in a day versus cigarettes is vastly different than putting 24mg sticker on your arm and leaving it.

Dont forget, too, that cigs contain other addictive chemicals in addition to nicotine. You are having trouble switching over because your body still wants these other chemicals. If you truly want to stop smoking tobacco, you are going to have to bite the bullet and just do it. Dual using, in my opinion, is the same thing as not quitting cigs.
