Sorry to ask what must seem like a bonehead question, but this is my first 510 and did not come with any instructions. It charged for a good 12 hours last night and the light is still not on. Just wondering what the usual charging time is on these things.

That's too long, in my opinion. I know with mine, if it's screwed too tight, the green light comes on immediately even if it needs charging. If it's too loose, the green light doesn't come on at all, it just stays red. Try screwing it on just a touch tighter or loosening it just a touch to see if that makes a difference.

my Provari has a 510 connection and the battery usually takes 3-3 1/2 hrs. to charge. The initial charge always takes a long time.
