Ive had the same 2 batteries for about 6 months now..a VTC4 and a Samsung 20R. Today I noticed my Samsung was taking a long time to charge..over 2.5 hours..and it felt like I wasnt getting alot of power from it for that long...but I dont know for sure. Is this a sign of an aging bat?

Dissonance Super Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

Not 100% on this, but I'd assume it's like every other battery that starts to go bad. Takes longer to charge, and doesn't hold the charge as long. Also I wanna say that batteries build up internal resistance over time... Which may be what's causing the feeling of not getting a lot of power. Do you notice your battery getting warm as you're vaping ?

Vaep Senior Member ECF Veteran

I did not notice any heat from the battery, no.. I will look out for it.

Spot-check 'em with a meter? How many times have you charged them? I'm not super-familiar with those types of batteries, but I do get that batteries have a limited number of times they can be charged before they just don't play effectively....
