"Throat hit" is best achieved by increasing nicotine strength. Increasing pg (propylene glycol) ratio does to a smaller extent. Using nicotine freebase as opposed to nic salts gives more throat hit.

I find that, with the Aegis Mini, even when I restrict the airflow significantly, I inhale too much too fast. I am currently using the Supermesh x2 0.2 ohm coils. I find the Smok Nord airflow is more to my liking. However, I like that I can adjust the temperature on the Aegis Mini.
