A: Berkeley prefers the term “test-free”, and for us this means that we’re not using SAT/ACT test scores for any part of our process, including evaluation/holistic review, selection, or scholarship processes.
Does the College of Letters and Science require units?
A: The College of Letters & Science denies admission if breadth and/or units are dependent on summer work. All other colleges — Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Design, Rausser College of Natural Resources, and Haas School of Business — require units; however, not all of these colleges require breadth.
Does Berkeley accept unsolicited information?
