I've only smoked from a vaporizer a handful of times, but every time that I have, when I exhale, no visible vapor comes out of my mouth. I don't know if it's the light or something, because the other people who I've been smoking with don't exhale anything visible either, but I know that you're supposed to be exhaling some vapor after your hit.

He said he's using a Firewood and my answers were related to that particular vaporizer.

Try exhaling through a beam of light. A flashlight works well. You can then see the vapor.

noahvale New Member

First off, you don't need to see any vapor to get high. But...........for many of us, we "want" to see those clouds so here's a couple of hints.

pazuzu33 Member

By the very nature of vaporizing you should not see smoke. Igniting the product defeats the purpose of vaping. I too that it was strange but ya just gotta go with it. In time I realized I got better results from my vaporizer then any other form of use.

I use visible cloud on exhale to see if I am getting good extraction and to notify when to re-up bowl.

What is the process of vaporization in an ecig?

Beings the process the liquid goes through inside the ecig is called vaporization and the liquid being vaporized consists of propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin, in my case propylene glycol. Also having nicotine and flavoring in it, with the combination of those substances being labeled e-liquid or ejuice I think the correct term would be vaporized eliquid or vaporized ejuice.

How hot should the body be when inhaling?

Can you see a cloud when you exhale a vape?

With a glass of iced drink to your mouth, exhale a lung of vape. The resulting cloud is MUCH more than what you'll observe with just plain clean exhaled air. I'm not entirely sure what that fact means in regard to your discussion though, other than our exhaled vape has a high water content, and coming in contact with the cold from the drink causes it to condense. Water vapor, as you noted, is not a visible gas.

Does juice contain H2O?

Although some juice contains H2O, it's a small part of its volume. But, PG is strongly hygroscopic, and I think VG is too ... so, they should extract water from our bodies as we inhale/exhale eJuice, causing the need for heavy vapors to guard against dehydration. So, it's reasonable to assume our exhaled vapor has a high water content (from our bodies). And, the vaporized PG might provide the nuclei for condensation, as you said. If you can clean air of all dust particles and other condensation nuclei, you can then supersaturate the air with water and still not get cloud (fog) formation. A surface (dust works) is necessary for the condensation to take place.

What is condensation going from?

Condensation is going from a GAS to a LIQUID.

Is e-cigarette better than real cigarettes?

Or, as a study by the German Cancer Research Center concluded: “Adverse health effects for third parties exposed cannot be excluded because the use of electronic cigarettes leads to emission of fine and ultrafine inhalable liquid particles, nicotine and cancer-causing substances into indoor air.”

I'm using Marlboro 18mg PG. I ordered Marlboro 18mg VG on Monday. Haven't received it yet. I hope the VG isn't too mild. Is the VG safer than the PG since it's Vegetable?

also one final point about vapor on exhaling - how long do you hold the "hit" in ? I tend to use a pv like a cigarette, fill my mouth with vapor as I draw on the device, then inhale and bring it to my lungs, and exhale rather soon. I like to see the vapor dancing around me as I exhale, its part of the attraction vaping has for me

I'm not sure why blowing out smoke is so important to us but it is right?

sanfordf Ultra Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

Long slow light draws should keep the juice out of the mouth tip. Don't hit it like it was a ..... The atomizer needs some time to vaporize the juice. Since it is not burnt .... smoke and is only steam vapor it will disappate easy. If you hold it in like some people smoke that other 'green' stuff, the vapor (steam) will disappear.

I've also noticed a couple of reviewers blowing before the inhale too. Can't think of a reason and find it a bit odd. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if someone can enlighten us

Whether it is useful or not, or just has imaginary usefulness many vapers have got into the habit of doing this. I do it myself sometimes.

I don't exhale but i have found myself getting into the habit of doing a couple mini inhales before I do the big one. Not sure why.

robert02 Initiate

I noticed that one, but didn't used to it. Simple : inhale straight away to the lungs, and exhale bloody dense cloud. Happy vaping ☺☺☺
