BTW the amp limit for that battery is 25A. 0.13 ohms draws 32A. You are greatly exceeding the battery safety limit by 28%.

First off, I didn't ask a question about resistance dropping due to dual coils. If I'm trying to run a build around .14-.16, purchasing .32 coils should get me there. I usually run my builds at .16-.17 with no issue. I understand how resistance halves.

it sounds like, you're putting them in the deck and measuring the resistance which comes out to about 0.30 ohms. They are too tall, so you cut them. Then whath happens? They go farther in to the deck and you clamp them again.

If you are measuring before cutting the legs, removing the coil to cut the legs and then measuring again after cutting the legs, yes...the second measurement will be lower. The overall length of the wire from end to end has decreased.

I guess you could fire it and few times to burn off any cleaning agent, but that might burn the Cotton.
Can you wash cotton coils in hot water?
When I help noobs out I recommend a wash in warm/hot water if they are looking to make the coils last. But I would hesitate to recommend any other liquids as cotton is designed to absorb any liquid we put in there. So to believe with evaporation or time the cleaning agent is 100% gone is risky in my opinion. The idea of atomizing any cleaning agent and inhaling it is not something I would consider.
