When you receive the No Coil Detected warning and it’s an issue related to the mod, it’s often an issue with the center pin in the 510 connector. Since the pin in the Aegis Legend is spring-loaded, the only way the mod can be the cause of the issue is if the pin got stuck in its lowest position somehow.

Hmm... I don't have any experience with the smokalien, personally, I believe some folks have had that issue and it could be the 510 pin on the mod being stuck, or even gunked with a bit of juice? I'd try cleaning the mod thoroughly and focusing on the 510 pin and the battery contacts.

Well, it sounds like something is up with the center pin, at least for that tank. It really shouldn't be, since your tank and mod are both smok products right? But it seems that may be the issue. If your friend can't help, I would perhaps take it to a B&M to see if they can help with this issue-- maybe a small spacer would help?

The center pin on a Baby Beast is NOT adjustable and it sounds like a problem with the coil or the contact in the base of the tank.

Can you turn a coil in its seat?

If you can still turn the coil in its seat, its not tight enough. Make sure that you have no debris inside the coil housing. Something as simple as a piece of plastic could prevent a solid connection and cause an atomizer short. Get into the habit of checking it and wiping out the area every time you open up the tank.

If you own multiple tanks and mods, the second step would be to ensure that your mod and tank work properly. To do this, all you do is change the tank for a new one. If you change the old tank with a new one, the message disappears from your mod, which could mean that your old tank is the problem.

Check Your Coil

Sometimes the reason you see the “No Atomizer” message is because there is a problem with the coil. To check the coil for issues, you’ll first want to clean it. To do this, you’ll have to take the tank apart as if you were changing the coil.
