My understanding is that smok is known for quality control issues. Their designs aren’t necessarily that bad but they are designed to be cheap not durable. Manufacturing errors tend to crop up a lot as well. Sometimes a smok device will work for years with no issues. Sometimes they crap out after only a few months.

If you just bought it, get it replaced if you are still under warranty. Seriously if it's behaving like that now, just get a replacement. It's going to die on you at some point, and while I understand not wanting another smok mod, hold them to their warranty.

If your Nord or Novo is 100% charged and yet you are dealing with SMOK nord not hitting issue or it is not firing, here's what you can do. Remove the pod and simply check for all the contact points. Many a times the pod may leak a bit on the contacts. This will result the pod not getting recognized at all.
3. SMOK Nord Not Turning On
If the SMOK mod is not turning on and it ends up with a black screen or you are dealing with SMOK nord won't turn on issue, the reason behind this is that your device has unintentionally entered the 'stealth mode'. This can be rectified very easily. In case you aren't in the stealth mode, simply update the firmware.

Many a times few users deal with SMOK Nord not charging issue. Often, this is actually not an error with your device, but in fact the issue is with either the charging port or the cable.
