I started vaping in January 2010 and ended up picking analogs back up 3 1/2 months later. One of the main reasons was that when I drank beer I couldn't find a flavor that went well with it. They were all either to sweet or not strong enough. It seemed that only a real cigarette would do.

Since you aren't new to the vaping game I'm gonna go ahead and assume you know that you have to try lots of things before you find something you like sometimes. That being said I like most of the naturally extracted tobacco liquids from Heather's Heavenly Vapes. They don't taste like cigarettes, no e liquid does, but they are tasty.

Another thought would be to try something chocolate flavored. I love amber beer with malibu coconut rum chasers while smoking phillies chocolate cigars. To me, the flavor combination is awesome. I personally haven't tried this combo with a chocolate flavored vape yet.

Ambers and of course malibu go great with chocolate. I'm not quite sure a lighter bodied lager would. Then again, I don't like chocolate so I may just be biased.
