Why does my vape make a noise when I vape?

An RTA with a fairly open airflow forces air and increases the productivity of the vape. More e-liquid will condensate and less turn to vapor, thus an excess of liquid makes the noise. E-liquid can’t be vaporized effectively when your vape wattage is too low. You need to increase it for normal heating or try to make longer draws.

Do you hear a buzzing noise when you charge your phone?

E-liquid can’t be vaporized effectively when your vape wattage is too low. You need to increase it for normal heating or try to make longer draws. Otherwise, you may flood your atomizer and e-juice will spit to your mouth. Avoid this by increasing the device’s wattage.

Why is my vape popping and spitting?

So all the factors above may affect vape popping, crackling, and spitting. It is mostly related to the interaction of e-liquid and coil wire. The condensation vapor and extra droplets can cause dreadful loud noise and spitting issues.

Why is my vape making a buzzing sound?

If you have an adjustable power vape and the wattage is too low, excess fluid can gather in your atomizer head. It isn't being vaporised quickly enough and will flood your coil, causing a gurgling noise or spitting. Try turning your power up slightly to see if this helps.

Is it bad that my charger is buzzing?

When the magnetic sheet steel inside a charger is extending itself, it is common for it to create a vibration. This vibration may make a high pitched noise due to the changes in the magnetics. When this happens, there is usually nothing to worry about.

Why does my charger make noise when I plug it in?

This is a vibration noise which occurs when electric current flows through a transformer or a winding wire inside a component part. However, the charger may still be used without any concern as there is no need to worry from a safety point of view.

What happens if you overcharge vape?

Don't Overcharge Your Vape Battery By leaving your vape plugged in when it's reached its capacity (fully charged), that extra power doesn't do anything. Well, nothing good, anyway. Why do I hear electricity?

The audible noise emitted from high-voltage lines is caused by the discharge of energy that occurs when the electrical field strength on the conductor surface is greater than the 'breakdown strength' (the field intensity necessary to start a flow of electric current) of the air surrounding the conductor.

A totally normal POP!

As the e-juice is being heated by the coil and turns into vapor, it makes a quiet crackling noise. The type of device you use will depend on how loud this noise will seem to you, and people who take deep, intense puffs may also notice the noise is louder.

Wattage and voltage and noise

A sub-ohm e-cigarette will usually crackle more than a standard setup because it increases the amount of e-liquid that will condensate – the more liquid, the louder the noise. You can adjust the airflow on a sub-ohm tank to reduce the amount of e-liquid – give this a go and see if it makes a difference.

Choose different e-liquids

The thinner your e-liquid, the more likely you are to end up with a flooded coil and the popping and spitting in your atomiser. This is much more likely to happen with high-PG juices.

Check your coil

Some coils are twisted or braided, which produces a bigger surface area to get more vapor. This can also cause louder popping sounds as the e-liquid gets into all the little spaces in the braid. This isn’t exactly preventable, but it’s something to look out for when considering a new e-cigarette device.

Why does my vape make a noise?

Why does my vape spit?

Vapes spit because juice collects on the coil and does not vaporize. This problem is caused by coils getting flooded with too much liquid, low wattage settings, and airflow that is too open, and a variety of other reasons.

Why does my RDA tank spit?

Overpriming. A common cause of a tank or RDA spitting is overpriming. Priming coils is essential, but some people overdo it and put too much liquid onto the coil and wicking. Instead, use a moderate amount to prime the coil.

Why do coils pop?

A Coil Design. Twisted and braided coils have more surface area, which helps to produce more vapor and may cause extra popping sounds . Such types of coils have more crannies and nooks, that’s why more e-liquid pops. We are talking about occasional popping because of twisted coil build, and you can hardly prevent it.

Why does my atomizer pop?

A thinner e-liquid might cause coil flooding and atomizer’s popping and spitting. You may use thicker vegetable glycerin instead of thinner propylene glycol liquid. Sugar is very much like wood when it is burned. Both contain cellulose which breaks down when burnt. Then the gases vaporize and make a popping sound.

Why do coils get flooded?

Deep drags are another reason why coils get flooded. Luckily, this problem is easy to solve. Just take slower and shallower drags. The airflow can be tightened, but the drags still need to be shallower because deep drags will flood the coil regardless of the airflow setting.

I'm a little unclear of when the buzzing occurs. Does it only happen when the USB cable is connected? Does it only happen while actively charging your battery device?

After thinking about it, I now recall that a few years ago there were some cheap Chinese regulated mods which had a "rattlesnake" sound. If I recall correctly, the sound came from the regulator or circuit board and occured while the fire button was pressed, but didn't happen if the fire button was not pressed.

Myk Vaping Master ECF Veteran

How loud is it? If it's very quiet that you only hear with your head in your hands with your mod near your ear while vooping, it's probably normal electronic stuff doing electronic stuff. It's louder near the port because that's an opening.

So every now and then, my PV will emit a very quiet buzzing sound when firing my atty. It'll happen for a little while, then stop. Then the next day, it will begin again at some point. To be honest, it might happen more often as I don't always vape in dead silent environments.

xxtigerxeyesxx Senior Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

that is your coil firing im 95 % sure maybe someone else will chime in . I dont think you have anything to worry about .are your ohms staying consistent if so dont worry

lukewheeler Full Member

Are you able to hear the slight buzzing sound behind the usual sound of the coil firing? It's not a sound you'd expect to hear alongside the normal sound.

Best thing to do is pop another atty on the Vamo, to check if it's the Vamo buzzing or the Rocket.

Izan Vaping Master ECF Veteran

you should fire the rocket before reassembling. That sounds like your coil firing.
