How do I Clean my vape device?

Does vape juice stain your vape?

The ingredients of vape juice will generally not stain your equipment, but residue will accumulate and the buildup will eventually affect performance. Vegetable glycerin, some darker ejuice flavorings, and especially sweet flavors are notorious for gunking up coils.

What to do if your vape coils are not working?

The first thing you have to do is remove the wicks from your coils—you don’t want to burn them. If your coils are not that bad, a light dry burn will do the trick. Pulse the fire button a few times until you remove the remaining liquid, let them cool down and re-wick.

What happens if I change the coil head on my vape?

Even if you change the coil head, the flavoring from your last juice might still be lingering in your device. This is especially true for tobacco, coffee, menthol, cinnamon and other dominant flavors such as melon, grape or licorice.

Hey everyone. So I haven't posted on the forums in a while, but the eGrip looks rather cool and I'm interested. However, from the very first time I saw a picture of it, I thought "So if the tank is built in... how do you clean it?" Well now that they're out in the wild I thought I'd ask here. Anyone care to enlighten me? Thanks!

Just unscrew, take out coil head, take drip tip off, cover USB port, and use dropper bottle with water to rinse. I also put the screw cap back on without the coil head and shook. Some have just covered the USB port and lightly rinsed. Although, I haven't been willing to try that yet. I put some twirled tissue in the tank to lightly dry.

Yes it is, but so shinny I don't notice it. I just wipe off on cotton shirt on occasion.

You could also possibly use rinsing alcohol on a q-tip if you've had strong tasting eliquids in it, in between the above mentioned tactics? covering the usb-port will be essential in any case, I guess. And not take it diving

I cover my USB port with masking tape and rinse under hot running water as Joyetech advises. I have seen people mention using USB dust covers to cover the USB port as well. I also do a final rinse with PGA. No problems at all using this method for me yet.

How To Properly Clean Your Electronic Cigarette

Our buyers spend too much time and money choosing the proper mod to not clean them properly. Knowing When To Clean

Knowing when to clean your kit isn’t quite as easy to identify as a dirty car or seeing a sink full of dishes. When you notice any of the following circumstances happening, a thorough u0003clean should be top priority:

Wet Mods

No matter the flavor, VG/PG ratio, or u0003nicotine level, tanks tend to leak from theu0003 airflow holes of your tank. This can dripu0003 down and cause the mod to get wet, u0003which may damage the internals u0003and can ultimately kill the mod.

Leaky Tank

Another cause of leaky tanks can be youru0003 atomizer head. If eLiquids do not heat upu0003 enough in the atomizer head to be properlyu0003 vaporized, this can cause spit back andu0003 leaks through the airflow hole. Always u0003clean out the chimney and airflow holeu0003 before clearing up leaks.

Coil Gunk

For RDA/RDTA users, seeing gunk u0003clogging up your coil is an obvious sign u0003your coils should be cleaned. However,u0003 more than likely, the quickest fix in this u0003specific case is either firing only the coilu0003 or buying a set of prebuilt coils.

Ready to clean?

Read the following steps and you’ll be on your way to a flawless vaping experience.

Step 1: Take Apart Your Setup

Once cleaning is realized, the first step is to disassemble your u0003setup, removing the atomizer head, drip tip, and glass from the u0003tank and the tank from the battery. Once you remove the tank,u0003 be sure to take the tank itself apart as well. If you’re using a u0003beauty ring for aesthetic purposes, you’ll need to remove that too.

Edna

Short of not mentioning that you did charge it fully (which I assume you did)

Edna

My AIO only gets rare use but I love it for running to the grocery store or for a night at the movies. The pen styles with built in batteries really don't last that long if they're your main vaping device. I have quite a few different devices and my Kangers and eleaf pico are my favorites. You'll not go wrong with either one.

FXRich

I may be a little biased because all my mods are Kanger, but I think the Kanger Subvod is a great pen style starter device, the wide range of coils make it capable of pretty much any style of vaping. I have 2 of them which I use almost daily, and they fit nicely in my pocket.

Edna

Yes i searched this thing aswell ,couldnt find a solution for it.. Someone said clicking it with a pen would reset the vape

Edna

We try to help around here...It's funny how people find this forum like you did with a problem of one type or another then they wind up sticking around. (I did it too) This is probably the nicest group on any forum I've ever found.

Jimmy Stromboli

I have the fix for the AIO pen and Cubs. It's a bad ground connection caused by the screw cap (male) and base (female) threads. Clean and scrape all corrosion with a eyeglass screwdriver.

Sunnylilfox

Another thing that can help that I have discovered with this forum. Because I have tried all these steps I eventually got curious and consecutively pressed a small pin into the bottom "reset button" a few times (probably like 10 times) this fixed my problem and I was able to hit my vape again.
