This is something we all know about, but as new vapers it might be something we didn't think would affect the taste of our e-cigarette. What I'm talking about here is the same thing as brushing your teeth before having a cup of tea, or on the other side of the coin, having a glass of red wine with your steak.

Remember, you need to regularly replace your coils (or eventually replace your vape tank) regardless of whether you follow these steps!
Refill Regularly
As we have mentioned, the absolute best thing you can do to avoid getting burnt hits is to regularly refill your vape juice tank. Many tanks are designed specifically for easy refilling, which may be attractive if you hate the idea of having to periodically clean up vape juice messes.

Sounds like vaper's tonque. Also maybe with the sore throat you need to adjust your PG/VG ratio. More PG = greater throat hit. More VG = less throat hit and more cloud vapor.

Could be a version of vapers tongue or it could be your sense of taste is coming back strong after years of smoking so you are picking up things you didn't before. Juice is a major evolution. I don't vape anything i used to during the first 3 months. But I have plenty that I've been enjoying for 6 months straight.

You may want to get some BioTene to upgrade your oral care. It's an over-the-counter antiseptic that dentists oral hygeinists often recommend. I've read that it helps with vaper's tongue.

drink plenty of fluids, rotate different flavors, change coils/tanks or clean your existing tanks using denture cleaner, send me muneh and pudding, try to cleans your palette with salted crackers or ginger, rinse with drymouth fluid (like Biotene)...and of course, just try taking a break for a short bit to let your tastes resettle.
