- Your heat was too high
- Your juice is too thick for your atomizer
- Your coil is too old
- You have a hot spot (in DIY coils)

That burnt vape tase is an awful experience in the throat, when instead of tasting a smooth flavorful vapour after a long puff, an awful burnt taste is felt. This experience can mess with your entire day, and may cause you to stop vaping altogether.
Why does my vape taste bad?
The chamber can accumulate a lot of burnt residue over time, so if you use it every day or multiple times a day, there is a much greater chance that it will begin to taste bad after a few weeks of use. This mainly occurs in desktop vapes, which have more room for buildup than portable ones.
How do I know if my vape coil is burnt?
However, a better way of discovering that your coil is burnt is through the flavour, a burnt coil often loses its original flavour. The taste of a burnt coil is often unpleasant in the throat and after a couple of puffs the taste of burnt coil affects the original flavour that should be experienced during the hit.
