I'm guessing that the gush of warm vapor is triggering your gag reflex when it hits the back of your throat. "Pulsing" the fire button will allow you to inhale some cooler ambient air along with the warmer vapor and the mix may alleviate the gagging response. Alternatively, take shorter draws with your first vaping session.

Mar 07, 2014 · Just my 2 cents, but it could be because your throat might be a bit dried out. I don't gag, but if my throat's dry when I vape, my uvula (dangly little ball in the back of the throat) gets stuck and makes it hard to swallow. Try sipping water while vaping and see if that helps. You Gag.. than that particular juice is NO go..! Is from either stupid high nic levels. what u expect. I recommend 3mg max. Or Salt nic! 12mg max. Metabolizes wayyy easier in body. It's simply your body and brain saying hell no! We've been here before buddy.. Not today.

Mar 03, 2016 · A lot of the time, adjusting to a new mixture can caught some gagging and coughing. Also, nicotine content plays a key role in the mixture. The higher the nicotine, the better the chances for adverse reactions. Drop to a 3 or 0 nic and see what happens. Also, if you were vaping a 50/50, not the best idea to go straight to a max VG blend.
Can vaping make you throw up?
For me I found this happens if the juice is flavoured too strong, or if the clouds are too thick Try diluting your juice a bit (or get the subtle flavour vapes) Or try and up your ohms/lower your wattage. It has also happened if I vape the same flavour for too long, so you can try and swap flavours to something different 1 level 2 tylerjone45

I'm not sure if it's related or not but when I vape and try to talk at the same time, my vocal cords gets thick and I cough. Gagging though? Like on the verge of being sick? That's something new to me.
Can vaping cause nausea?
Nicotine in the stomach can create nausea. With vaping, if you run at too low wattage or with thin juice in sub-ohm tanks, you can literally be drinking e-liquid. If you are swallowing this juice, I can imagine experiencing nausea. You are unlikely to poison yourself with the nicotine concentrations in vape juice.
Can vaping cause vomiting?
Nicotine overdose results in vomiting. Vaping too much for too long can also result in vomiting, again - because your nicotine intake is too high. Try a different liquid, turn down on the nicotine and try vaping a little less and see if it helps. Also, watch out for low quality liquids out there.
Is Pax w/juul too high?
If your using the Pax w/Juul pods they are 50mg (5% nicotine) so that is way too high, so yes as already stated lower nicotine level, try higher VG ratio.
Can you vape if you have nicotine?
Probably not vaping. Probably some type of flavour. Overdosing on nicotine seems like a silly assumption as it takes a whole lot of nicotine, a lot more than reasonable, to OD. If you smoked and never had a reaction to nicotine, I really don’t think that’s where the issue lies.
