A vape spitting is most often a sign that the vape juice has overly saturated and flooded the coils. When you fire the atomizer, the vapor coming up through the flooded juice makes the liquid spit and jump up the chimney and through the mouthpiece.May 14, 2018

My last tank, the iSub, which fires .5ohm coils, kept getting a little or a lot of juice in my mouth, and most likely in my lungs since even with the airflow reduced, the diameter of the tip is so big it's nearly impossible to do anything but full on lung hits. Hi All! This is my first post. I have been trying to read through threads to see if I could find my answer before asking and I have seen this issue mentioned but haven't seemed to find a resolution. I am new to vaping, just started a week and a half ago and have already lost any desire for analogs.

I had this problem when I first started using EVODs and it turns out that I was using it incorrectly. I use to take a drag from it like it was a cigarette. I would hit it really hard.

I think some of it also has to do with the vapor recondensing into a liquid again inside the drip tip during heavy use. At least that's been my experience.

I wasn't a smoker before, I just enjoyed vaping, using a nord and buying 1 coil and bottle of juice per month was cheap, and I never noticed any bad health effects.

Reason #2 – Bad E-Fluid

  • “Bad” may not be the right word. It could just be that you’re using the wrong kind of E-fluid. Your tank’s or device’s performance depends largely on what kind of E-liquid you use in it. You might be asking for trouble if you have a sub ohm coil and you are using an E-fluid that is high in PG. They tend to be watery and thin. They flow right through your coil. On the other hand, E-fluids with hig…

Reason #3 – Did You Over Prime The Coil?

  • This is a common mistake and happens frequently; particularly if you’re not familiar with a tank or device. Correct coil priming is executed by applying a bit of E-liquid to the wicking ports. Just drip, down the center of it, a few drops. Some will require less juice, some more. You don’t want build-up in the chimney, you just want to saturate the cotton well. The solution – if you do happen to o…
